Abdul Rahim Nagori's work never fails to stir a controversy. An artist who still burns with the fire of indignation, Nagori paints with anger. Nagori was established as an artist whose stance against socio-political ills caused a flurry of discontent from the much feared establishment.
Undoubtedly the country's most outspoken radical, political artist, Nagori graduated with an MA degree in Fine Arts from the Punjab University in 1965, and in 1970 he established a Fine Arts Department at the University of Sindh, Jamshoro. Trained as a muralist, most of his work was seen in exhibitions since the '80s, and for reasons of economy, have been moderate in size.
